An Essential Financial Literacy Course for High School Students
In a culture where young people are constantly targeted by debt-driven marketing, instant gratification, and financial misinformation, students need more than basic math skills; they need wisdom.
There is a significant gap in practical financial education for teens, and Stewardship aims to fill that gap with biblical-based and practical knowledge by equipping your child with the practical skills, biblical perspective, and financial confidence needed to make wise decisions and step into adulthood with a meaningful head start in planning and managing their resources.
Stewardship is a 36-week, biblically grounded personal finance curriculum for students 15 and up. The course combines practical math skills for daily living with principles of Christian stewardship. Drawing on real-life examples from his own life, Steve Demme encourages students to make wise decisions about the resources God has entrusted to them. The program encourages providing ample opportunity for parents to have frank conversations with their students about finances before they leave home. The course also includes daily Bible readings that connect personal finance with faith.
